BIRDS MEET BULLS 2027
Terms & Conditions
These conditions apply to Birds meet Bulls 2027. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
1. Organiser
Verein Chozen One Wingsuit Team, Industriestrasse 20, 8752 Näfels, Switzerland. For booking and cancellation enquiries, contact team@chozenones.ch.
2. Booking and payment
Your selected services and total price are shown during booking. Payment is by bank transfer in EUR using your booking number as the reference. Places are reserved for seven days from booking and confirmed once payment has been received. If payment is not received within this period, the booking request is deleted and the places are released.
3. Cancellation by a participant
Please send cancellation requests by email. Refunds of the event fee, excluding jump costs, depend on when the organiser receives the cancellation before the event starts:
- 60 days or more: 100% of the event fee refunded.
- 30–59 days: 50% of the event fee refunded.
- Fewer than 30 days: no refund of the event fee.
Jump costs are treated separately. If cancellation is received at least seven days before the event starts, paid event-package jumps are refunded in full. This clause does not establish a blanket forfeiture of jump costs for later cancellations; applicable statutory rights remain unaffected. This refund policy applies to event-package jumps, not separately booked helicopter loads.
4. Cancellation by the organiser
If the organiser cancels the entire event, all amounts paid to the organiser for the cancelled event booking will be refunded in full. No bank fees will be deducted.
5. Weather-related interruption during the event
If weather prevents paid event-package jumps from taking place during the event, paid jumps that are not completed will be refunded. The remaining event fee is not refundable under this weather policy. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. Participation and safety
Participants must meet the experience and equipment requirements published for their selected activities and follow the safety instructions of the coaches and drop zone. XRW requires suitable experience and equipment. The separate helicopter information and safety requirements shown during booking also apply to helicopter activities.
Pre-check-in, insurance and arrival checks
All participants must complete the UPCS online pre-check-in before attending the event. Log in at upcs.at, go to Drop Zone → Pre-Check-In and complete the form. This must be done in 2027, not in 2026. The UPCS pre-check-in is separate from the Birds meet Bulls event booking.
Participants must bring valid proof of third-party liability insurance and accident/medical insurance covering their booked skydiving activities to check-in. Coverage must be valid for the relevant activity locations: Austria and, where applicable, Switzerland for the helicopter day. Participants are responsible for checking their cover with their insurer before the event.
On the opening day of the event, all participants must complete a gear check and attend a wingsuit-specific drop zone briefing before taking part in event jumps.
7. Liability
The applicable statutory liability provisions apply. Participation does not constitute a blanket waiver of claims for damages. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits liability where this is not permitted by applicable law.
8. Jurisdiction
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the courts having jurisdiction over the organiser’s registered office in Näfels, Canton of Glarus, Switzerland, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these conditions or participation in the event. Mandatory statutory jurisdiction rules, including any applicable consumer rights to bring or defend proceedings in another jurisdiction, remain unaffected.
Discount code protection
We record rejected attempts to use expired or redeemed discount codes for up to 90 days: code, number of attempts, first and last attempt time, and action (checking a code or submitting a booking). Where available, a hashed browser-session identifier helps group repeated attempts. This log does not store names, email addresses or IP addresses. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable session grouping; rejected attempts may still be counted without an identifier. Access is restricted to the event organiser.
Optional website analytics
With your consent we measure page visits, approximate country, internal link clicks, scroll milestones, package choices and booking progress (including validation issues and saved bookings). We use a random browser-session ID in session storage. With your renewed consent, we additionally process your IP address transiently to derive a daily changing pseudonymous visitor code using a secret-key HMAC and the date in Europe/Zurich. The full IP address is not stored in our analytics. The code is retained for up to 90 days and cannot link visits across different days. Shared networks, VPNs and changing addresses mean that this is an estimate of daily visitors, not a count of identifiable people. No form contents, names, emails, query parameters or personal-link tokens are stored in these analytics. Country is derived by our hosting infrastructure and may be inaccurate, for example when using a VPN. Detailed events older than 90 days are deleted when analytics next runs or the organiser opens the statistics. Access is restricted to the organiser. Your accept/reject choice is stored locally until you change it or clear browser storage. Use “Privacy settings” on any page to withdraw consent at any time; this stops future analytics and removes the session ID. Booking remains available when you decline. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable analytics. Technical hosting and booking processing remain necessary to provide the service.
